Andy Hogan is a Republican candidate for Macon County Board District 2, the SouthEast District of Macon County. He runs a Country Financial office. His campaign is on Facebook, though there is no meaningful information. His campaign page says he is a "lifelong resident of Macon County and graduate of Mt. Zion High School" and comes from "many generations involving agriculture and public service."

I was unable to find any news about Andy on Herald & Review, WAND, NowDecatur, or DecaturTribune. On July 20th, 2022, I messaged him, asking to interview him. He replied to touch base in August. On August 30th, I messaged him offering a questionnaire, instead of the interview, then emailed him a link to the questionnaire. As of October 12th, he has not completed the questionnaire.

His public posts on Facebook are not political. He mostly posts about his family, high school sports, and his Country Financial office. He appears to be married to a woman and to have two children. His personal Facebook Page says he lives in Mount Zion, was born November 30th 1983, went to Mt. Zion High School, and "Studied at Millikin", though it doesn't appear he has a college degree. He made one Facebook post about gun raffles at the Macon County speedway. He made one post about a 2019 grant for $1500 from Country Financial that was given to the Mt. Zion Fire Protection District.

An online source says that he used to live in Dalton City, IL & that he is Christian. I'm not sharing the source, because it lists his past addresses and names of family members and neighbors.

He was a defendant in a 2011 traffic case and there were two hearings. He was a defendent again in a 2014 traffic case and there were no hearings. His court records can be viewed on Judici. You may be able to get more information by sending a FOIA request to the Macon County Circuit Clerk
