When Do I Vote? Decatur & Macon County, Illinois

Election day is November 8th, 2022. Early voting is from September 29th through November 7th.

  • Election Day: November 8th from 6am to 7pm at your polling place
  • Early Voting: September 29th - November 7th in the County Building, at 141 S Main St, room 119
  • By Mail: September 29th - November 8th
    • You can also drop-off your mail-in ballot. See Where Do I Vote? for locations or How Do I Vote? for more information.
    • MUST be postmarked November 8th or sooner.
    • The County MUST receive the ballot by November 22nd.

Early voting takes place in the County Building, at 141 S Main St, room 119

  • September 29th/30th (Thurs/Fri): 8:30am - 4:30pm
  • Oct 3rd - Oct 28th (Mon-Fri): 8:30am - 4:30pm
    • Columbus Day, Monday October 10th is also 8:30pm - 4:30pm
  • October 29th (Saturday): 9:00am - Noon
  • October 30th (Sunday): 10:00am - 4:00pm
  • October 31 - November 4 (Mon-Fri): 8:30am - 7:00pm
  • November 5th (Sat): 9:00am - 4:00pm
  • November 6th (Sun): 9:00am - 4:00pm
  • November 7th (Mon): 8:30am - 7:00pm
